About Mike Anderson

Mike’s expertise spans trust, liquidations, middle and back-office functions, corporate administration, fund administration and independent director services, with a strong focus on corporate governance, regulatory compliance and risk assessment. Mike has extensive experience in the hedge fund industry across a diverse range of investment managers in varying strategies and across jurisdictions (United Kingdom, the United States, Switzerland, Singapore and Hong Kong).

Prior to joining Highwater, Mike worked at Genesis Trust, a boutique trust, corporate services and independent director firm in the Cayman Islands, with experience in managing trust and private investment structures and in providing director and board support for private funds and CIMA-regulated funds. Mike was also previously employed at Rawlinson & Hunter Cayman, working in trust, corporate, financial and fiduciary services.

Mike is a Chartered Certified Accountant and holds a fellowship with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and is also a Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP). Before transitioning into finance, Mike earned a BEng (Hons) in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Edinburgh and began his career as an engineer.
